Lewis Carroll (1832–1898) was an English writer, mathematician, logician, Anglican
deacon, and photographer. He is best known for his children’s books “Alice’s Adventures
in Wonderland” and “Through the Looking-Glass,” as well as for his poems “The Hunting
of the Snark” and “Jabberwocky.
